don't know if this is the right place but anyway have any of you had problem with the electric gate. Its the lock/latch attached at the bottom right corner. Mine has refused to open can anyone suggest a contractor or any remedy? Thnaks.

If you are paying by cheque:
- Please make your cheque payable to "Persatuan Penduduk Jalan Kemuning Palma".
- Write your name, house number and street name at the back of the cheque.
- You may drop your cheque into the Drop-In box …

Hi Andrew, Why not call to Paramount Official complaint because since handling over of vacant possession, numerous complaints over thier inferior quality of the auto gate system.
If Really doesnt works. Post your comment again & i shall introduce u One.
My Pass experience with Paramount though our Period of defects liability was over , they will still assist. Tell them your auto gate keep giving you REPEATED problem.

i got the contractor who did the work for paramount to have a look (as advised by the developer when I called them). He claims the product is a cheap product so if your unlucky like myself got problem. My problem was the cable snap so had to change which required some hacking .... so how about you?
forgot to add I had to pay for the service..... imagine breaking down just after the warranty period.

Not too sure what's the problem. Can hear the engine is working when you press the button but the gate just not moving. Maybe the sequence of open and close is gone hair wired. Dunno what to do with this..

Hi Cath1hg,Try to get Paramount to attend. Failing which , you can call this number : 016-3800038. Look for John. ( Outside Contractor) for assistance.

Hi Andrew,
Same symptom applies to us. When I pressed the autogate switch or remote control, I noticed that the motor was functioning but the gate refused to follow instruction. I tried to apply WD40 to all joining parts but still failed. Lucky still have side door to access. Else, whole family kena panjat pagar.....
Anyway, do you still hv your vendor's contact no.?

I also have the same problem when I move in. When you press the button you only can hear the sound "Tik!TiK!" at the box there but the gate is not moving. So, I had replace a electric board on in the box. I cant remember how much d.
In paramount have the person in charge, Tan Ah Seng. He will give introduce you the contractor that use by paramount.
About the gate, I been consult a electric gate expert, he said that the company who produce the gate had close down. So, no longer in the market. This kind of gate the disadvantage is the water may go into the whole where the motor located. So, it will cause the motor damage easy.

Like what I said before, this is another common "Palmaian" thing like the parquet problem. Mine already kabut almost one year ago. Repaired twice. Either cannot open (when motor was functioning) or cannot close completely. At one time, mother board fused.
Since I have 2 dogs in the porch most of the time and I dont park my cars in, I dont bother anymore. HAIH....

I also faces the same problem and have to pay for the service 2 times already !!
For those who can hear the motor sound but the gate does not swing open, its due to the lock problem (the one where you can use the key to open the auto gate manually). A piece of metal would drop down from the lock when the gate is close, and this metal is suppose to be pulled up by a magnetic device for the gate to swing open. Sadly, after a while, due to dust / rust etc, the device would fail to function properly....

My house gate too got problem. Sometime i go out and i come back , my gate is wide opened. At first i thought i forgot to close. But after 2 times , how can i be doing the same mistake again. So i make sure i watch it close before i leave and really is, the gate opened it self.

hey, Honkit, so scary lee. haha.. kidding.
I think the gate really have a lot of problem. i am not sure how long the gate can last, it maybe total die very soon. especially the unit that nobody stay. I am not sure what we can ask the developer do, any suggestion?
actually my one sometime can not open , have to press few times, although I had fix it but still same. What we can do~!

i have the same problem with gate having a mind on its own and opening when not required to... and it tends to happen while we are away from home. luckily i have a neighbour who would keep watch and contact me when it does open. however, i oso would chain up the gate with lock as an alternative to prevent it from opening while we are away from home.
